The practical details

Come prepared
for the good stuff.

Still wondering about something? We are happy to talk it through. The best safari is the one that feels right for you.

Ask our team
What is included in a Nahori safari?

Private or shared game drives as selected, accommodation, meals, an expert safari guide, park and conservancy fees, and airport or airstrip transfers included in your itinerary. We will make the inclusions clear in your personal proposal.

How many days should I plan?

Five to seven days is a lovely first safari length. It gives you time to settle into the rhythm of the bush instead of rushing between parks. Short three-day fly-in escapes and longer Kenya combinations are also available.

When is the best time to visit Kenya?

Kenya is rewarding throughout the year. July to October is popular for dry weather and migration season in the Mara. January to March brings warm days and excellent newborn wildlife. The green seasons are quieter, beautifully lush, and often offer better value.

Can you tailor a safari for our group?

Yes. Every private journey can be shaped around your dates, interests, pace, accommodation style, and budget. We plan differently for families, photographers, couples, first-time safari guests, and returning Kenya travellers.

Do I need to be a professional photographer?

Not at all. Our photography journeys welcome phone photographers, beginners, enthusiasts, and working professionals. We focus on giving you time, good positioning, and practical support at whatever level feels useful.

What equipment should I bring?

Bring what you enjoy using. A camera with a telephoto lens is helpful for wildlife, but a phone or compact camera can make wonderful images too. We can share a suggested packing list and advice based on your itinerary.

Is Kenya suitable for families with children?

Absolutely. We can design shorter drives, child-friendly camp stays, educational bush experiences, and a flexible pace. We recommend discussing ages and interests early so the route works beautifully for everyone.

How do I reserve my safari?

Send us an enquiry through the contact page or WhatsApp us on 0718 769 412. We will talk through your idea, prepare a tailored proposal, and explain availability, deposit requirements, and the next steps before anything is confirmed.

Can I combine safari with the Kenyan coast?

Yes. A Mara or Amboseli safari pairs naturally with a few slow days in Diani, Watamu, or Lamu. Ask us for a bush-and-beach route built around your preferred pace.

What happens if I have accessibility or dietary needs?

Please tell us as early as possible. We will work with our camp and transport partners to plan thoughtfully around mobility, medical, dietary, and other personal requirements.
